So Easy: A Caveman or DKE Could Do It!
My wife, Lisa, just surprised me for my 40th birthday with a visit from some DKE boys.  Rick Hopkins (1991), Frank Edwards (1992) and Chris Mumford (Spring 1992, All-American Men's Tennis) came down to Athens, GA for a surprise dinner and some golf to celebrate my birthday.  All the crew is doing great.  Frank and Rick spend most of their time trying to decide which of their many golf clubs they are going to visit - it is hard to decide between Charlotte, Palm Beach, Figure 8 and Clementon, NJ.  Chris Mumford works in Richmond for the Martin Agency, a national advertising agency.  He handles some of their massive accounts, including the ubiquitous GEICO ads. Chris was even cast as the Caveman in one of their series of Caveman ad campaigns (the one on the veranda at a party).  He said it took 69 minutes of sitting still to apply the makeup and hair for just one single shoot. So, the next time you see a GEICO caveman on TV, it just might be a fellow brother in the bond.
